Haggler Shop ("we", "us") runs an online marketplace where buyers and sellers, helped by AI, agree prices for used items. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have. Contact us at support@haggler.shop with any question.
Information you give us.
Information from sign-in providers. If you sign in with Google, Microsoft or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and an account identifier from that provider, and, for Google, whether your email address is verified. We use this only to create and sign you in to your account. We do not post on your behalf or access your contacts, files or other data on those services.
Information collected automatically. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and activity logs, used for security and to keep the Service running. We use a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers.
Listing photos, descriptions, offers and negotiation messages are processed by AI models, which may be run by us or by AI service providers acting for us. Some negotiations and AI decisions are reviewed by our staff or contracted reviewers to check quality and fairness, so people at Haggler Shop may read those messages. AI output can be wrong. See the AI section of our Terms.
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes, such as completed orders and payments, which we keep only as long as required. See how to delete your data.
We protect your data with measures such as encryption in transit, hashed passwords and encrypted API keys. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, download or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict some processing, and to withdraw consent. You can update most details in your account settings and turn off marketing reminders using the unsubscribe link. To exercise any other right, email support@haggler.shop. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
You can disconnect Google, Microsoft or Facebook from Haggler Shop at any time in that provider's account settings. This stops further sign-ins with that provider but does not delete the data we already hold; to delete that, follow how to delete your data.
Haggler Shop's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
We will post changes here and update the date above, and tell you about material changes. Questions or requests: support@haggler.shop.
